Anciet Entertainment

Children in ancient Egypt were in some ways just like the children here. They would play board games and more physical games for entertainment. There vision of tug a war seems way more interesting then our old rope! In this vision they would have the two captains or the two people in the front grab each others wrist... Then a human chain would form behind them and try to pull their captains apart. Another game is called buck-buck which is also played by modern-day boy scouts. A standing group of six to eight boys would form a tower by linking their arms over their shoulders then the other members of their team would leap on top. (Warning:don't try this game at home.) Again another harmful but most likely fun game s is trying to jump over a human obstacle! Another game that seems odd is where two players shot out a number of fingers while yelling even or odd and after you add up the numbers it must match or else you loose. Boys and en in Egypt enjoyed wrestling. I don't see how! I mean sweaty and gross. I would take more of an interest in the girly games. For example, juggling or a simple game of catch. However in ancient Egypt to be a rebel while playing catch you would get on each others backs and try to keep three balls moving at once. You see, when it comes to games the only difference is we have a little more control :) .
